Hi All –
Event is this coming weekend… 402 training miles in this year! On Friday did a good 15 mile training ride with courageous Tanya, our captain and inspiration, on what turned out to be a tough MS day for her but she powered through. I was gonna keep going but my bike wasn’t shifting right.

Sunday (yesterday) I got in a 65 mile ride, alongside with teammate Deb most of the way. I upped my speed from previous rides a little bit. AND feeling stronger about doing the 100 mile route on this Saturday, and the 75 mile route on Sunday!! I’ll be riding with three other teammates all doing the 100 Saturday too (Deb, Adam and Meredith) though I’ve told them to push ahead if I am slowing them down. Tanya and Mark are gonna the 30 or 50 each day.
Just doing some more relaxed rides during this week to rest up for weekend. Killed myself pretty good yesterday in preparation! Woohoo.
WINE PRIZES Added!!
Two stops on Saturday are at a wineries… with the option to buy and pick up at the finish… so gonna get fancy this ride and instead of a farmer’s market find gonna pick up two bottles of wine for you sponsors as well!! I’ll pick up a red and white and will hold raffle at the end of next week for wine, and the local Holland treats my friend’s Scott and Laura picked up. So some good raffle prizes this year.
Fundraising Total So Far
Thanks to you amazing people so far we’ve raised $5186 🧡 to help end MS hopefully soon. Some promising research this funds as well as services and support for those with MS. And our team Circle of Friends is currently in first place ahead of Team GM and Team Ford… so we are holding our own in the effort to stop this devastating disease from affecting so many.
