A great 38 mile training ride this morning with Meredith and Deb! Much fun as we tackled the hills with great weather. With less than a month until June 10 & 11th trying to up the mileage. But you all have donated $1625 so far, which is simply incredible and has me training harder with your support and words of encouragement. No promises, but if training goes well I may attempt the 100 mile route on the first day!
Feeling surprisingly good on the bike as this was only my 4th ride of the year, but I am upto 92.9 total training miles in so far. Always good to ride with my Circle of Friends teammates. The past two weekends it’s been with Deb and Meredith, but we’ll have bigger rides soon and will snap more pics of these wonderful friends! Together we tackle this biking challenge and help raise important funds for the MS Society… and even small donations help! So thank you!
And whatever amount you donate, you’ll be entered in two raffles, one after each ride – June and August. I never updated everyone last year about who won the Raffle Prizes after the June ride. (I didn’t end up doing the 2nd ride last year so only one raffle).
So here is who won the June 2022 Raffle Prizes:
- True Chardonnay — Jim E.
- Mertiage — Mark B.
- Mertiage — Valary S.
- Cabernet Sauvignon — Mary D.
- Granola, Blueberries, Apple Butter — Roger S.
- Cherry Salsa, Cards, Pretzels — Bob W.
- Blueberry Preserves, Party Cups, Sponge Cloth — Linda H.
The raffles this year will include wine again too, and you can look at the Raffle Prizes page to see photos of last years goodies too.
I am a little sore after this mornings great ride and tomorrow will likely really be feeling it. But celebrating tonight with a Guinness and will celebrate Mother’s Day tomorrow with mom and my brother and his family. I hope all you moms out there have a great day tomorrow as well! Spring is definitely upon us!!
Below is what we did today at the parks (Meredith went a little farther), and Thanks Again for the terrific support you all give me every year! You can leave comments below if desired.
