Hello All! A little late in starting to fundraise, but yes doing both rides this year! June in Holland, MI with it’s Dutch influence and August in Frankenmuth, MI amid the German culture.
Did a lot of walking and some indoor spin biking this past Winter and Spring. And have gotten in a couple outdoors rides recently – an 18 miler around home and the photo above was yesterday after a great 22 miler with teammates Meredith and Deb. They actually went farther but we had fun at our usual team training spot, riding the roads inside Kensington Metropark and Island Lake State Park.
Just 34 days before West MI ride, but I am shooting for riding the 75 mile routes on both days! And then for the August ride will have time to prepare for planning to do the 100 mile routes both days.
You all helped me raise $6730 last year for the MS Society which is simply incredible! Thank you! If you’d like to donate this year a single donation will cover both my rides and you’ll be entered in both post-ride raffles!! Two for one!
We had a fun team kickoff luncheon at Royal Oak Brewery last Sunday. Team is ready to tackle this challenge and with your help put a dent in MS – with the MS Society providing support to those affected by Multiple Sclerosis and also funding great research!
